The President of the Republic of Poland,the Honorable Lech Kaczynski will be visiting the Copernicus Foundation on Tuesday September 25th 2007.

The President of the Republic of Poland,
the Honorable Lech Kaczynski

will be visiting the Copernicus Foundation
on Tuesday September 25th
.
During his stay in "Windy City" the president will meet with State and City Officials.He also requested an opportunity to address Chicago's Polish community.



Following the ceremony, this evening will feature a concert with performances by renewed Polish artists provided by the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.
As the Copernicus Foundation has long been regarded as a center of culture and heritage in Chicago's Polonia and its dedication to preserving and sharing Polish arts is widely know the Office of the President of the Republic in Poland
has identified the grounds of this facility to be an ideal location for this prestigious event.

Because this unique event is open to public, the Chancellery of the President of Republic of Poland anticipates a large attendance that will also include many Polish dignitaries as well as community leaders, federal and local officials.
It is expected that seven to ten thousand people will gather to meet the President Lech Kaczynski and performing artists.


The Copernicus Foundation truly believes that Chicago's Polonia involvement with this important cultural and social event
will have a great meaning to the President of the Republic of Poland and will demonstrate support of the rich heritage of Polish - American community.
In addition Chicago's Polish community will get unforgettable chance to meet the President Lech Kaczynski in person.

The advance team with the head of an advance team, Secretary of State, Minister Michal Kaminski to prepare an official visit of the President of the Republic of Poland came to Chicago on Wednesday, the 5th of September.
The meeting with the advance team took place at Copernicus Foundation.
