Taste of Polonia 2007 is dedicated to all women.
The festival will feature great entertainment, including numerous female headliners from Poland as well as an array of musical performers from around the world. This year we are proud to present the following Polish musical groups: NATALIA KUKULSKA, NATALIA ARNAL, MALEO REGGAE ROCKERS AND ALIZMA. Other Bands are: Swamphouse from California, Gentlemen of Leisure, Afrodisiacs, and Catfight.Tribute bands include: Axis - Jimmy Hendrix, Britbeat - The Beatles, Appetite for Destruction - Gun's & Roses,Bad Medicine - Bon Jovi, Rick Saucedo - Elvis Presley, Elevation - U2, Prezence - Led Zeppelin, Rico - Carlos Santana,Denny Diamond - Neil Diamond. Blues - Linsay Alexander, Jazz - Marcin Januszkiewicz and Frieda Lee and many, many more.
Sunday afternoon will allow our festival guests a chance to become a rock star by taking the stage with Live Karaoke Band - no auditions necessary. All you need to do is show up and sing your heart out.
And of course it would not be a Taste of Polonia without polka music.Pan Franek, Zosia and the Polkatowners, Downtown Sound, Tony Blazonczyk & New Phaze, Polkaholics, Freeze Dried,Joe Walega & Happy Hearts, Stas Golonka & the Chicago Masters, and the Ampol-Aires will play your favorite polka tunes."Wawel" Polish Folk Dance Group, Polonia Dancers, "Mali Siumni" - Polish Highlanders Dance Group, other entertainers:Marszalek Band, Ron Smolen Orchestra, Gwiazda, Firebeat.
